Day 1: BP Shavat – Kunya Urgench – Darvaza Gas Crater

Begin your journey at the BP Shavat border post, where you’ll cross into the enigmatic world of Turkmenistan. After completing border formalities, embark on a mesmerising drive through the vast Karakum Desert to the Darvaza Gas Crater, often called the "Gateway to Hell."

As dusk falls, witness the surreal sight of the burning crater—a glowing beacon in the heart of the desert.

Gather around the fire for a traditional BBQ dinner, savouring the flavours of the region while basking in the crater's mysterious glow. For the night, experience true desert tranquillity by staying in our comfortable yurt camp, surrounded by the vastness of the Karakum.

Day 2: Darvaza – Kunya Urgench – BP Shavat

Awake to the serenity of the desert and enjoy a hearty camp-style breakfast before setting out for Kunya Urgench, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Marvel at architectural masterpieces like the Kutlug Timur Minaret, the tallest in Central Asia, and the intricately designed Mausoleum of Turabek Khanum.

Rates are per person depending of the total number of people in your group.

Rates include the following:

• Visa support (Letter of Invitation, State Registration, Travel Pass)
• Road transport in private air-conditioned vehicles, regular or SUV/4WD (4x4 – Toyota Hilux, Toyota Sienna, Toyota Prado or similar)
• Accommodation based on private tent or yurt (3 pax) (including sleeping mat, sleeping bag, and pillow), including breakfast and BBQ dinner

• Bottled water 1.5 litres per person per day
