We would like to go for one day and come back to Seoul on the same day. No need to spend the night in North Korea.

Still can't go from one Korea to the other

Hi there! No, there have been no changes. There were talks of us being able, escorted by North Korean soldiers, to go to the South Korean side of the DMZ, to the building there (house of freedom they call it in the South I believe) and for people from South Korea to visit the building in North Korea, also escorted by South Korean soldiers. However, this has not been implemented yet and we do not know if it will be.

day trips to North Korea

Hi,

Thanks for your message. We do not organise trips from South Korea. Before it was possible for people from South Korea to go on day trips to North Korea (i.e. to Kaesong) and not stay there overnight. They could also go to Gumgangsan (Diamond Mountain) but were not allowed to go to the capital of North Korea Pyongyang.

These trips no longer run and now to visit the DPRK you will have to go from China (it is also possible to enter from Russia).

The shortest trips we organise are of 2 nights / 3 days in North Korea. You will be based in Pyongyang and will have the chance of visiting the city of Kaesong and the DMZ.
