Arriving from Germany to North Korea and when will there be tours again

Hello,

I would like to take part in a group tour as an individual.

I am traveling from Germany. What would it cost and do you organize the whole trip or do I have to book the flight from Germany myself and how do I get the connection flight?

When do you offer travel again 2023 ?

Going to North Korea from Europe

Thank you for your message. It is still not possible to go to North Korea because of Covid. We do not expect the borders to re-open soon, but are constantly in touch with Pyongyang and will let everybody know as soon as there are any updates. Please feel free to follow us on Facebook and/or to sign up to our mailing list.

As for prices, please refer to our group tours page and our private tours page for more details.

Rates include round-way transportation from China to Pyongyang and back as well as all costs in North Korea. They do not include your flights between Germany and China.

Rates include:

Transport costs from Beijing to Pyongyang and back (plane in
/ train out)

All local transfer costs

Accommodation in North Korea (twin room). In the case of one solo independent traveller there is no need to pay for a single room supplement

Three meals per day (B,L,D)

Guide service in English / requested language if other

Entrance tickets to all tourist attractions

The following is not included in our rates:

DPRK Visa fee (€50 if issued in China)

Special optional events that may be staged such as the Circus Show (€20)

Going up the Juche Tower which is optional (€5)

Upgrading room to a single one (€35 per room per night)

Extra drinks/snacks (meals include bottled mineral water and one
complimentary drink)

Meals on the train from the DPRK to Beijing (approx. €5. You can
also bring your own food)

Flowers for the Grand Statues (€5 Euros for the whole group, not per person)

Tips to tour guides and driver

Departures to North Korea are mainly from Beijing. We meet the group the day before the tour starts, go over our DPRK tour briefing and hand any travel documents then. If you fly in from Germany to Beijing on the same day your tour starts, we can also meet you directly at the airport, but we strongly advise travellers to arrive at least one day before the tour starts in case there any flight delays as missing the flight to Pyongyang is troublesome given that flights are only scheduled a few days per week. You can also depart from Shenyang or from Dandong if you prefer and we can hand you any travel documents there.
