Rason Itinerary Confirmed!

Still not possible to enter via China (for now...)

Hello we hope that this email finds you well!

Just a few hours ago, we were sent confirmed itineraries from our Korean partners in Rason, the Special Economic Zone located in the far northeast of the DPRK which will re-open to tourism soon!

You can see the longest itinerary by clicking on the picture below and shorter 1 night and 2 night tours can be arranged too:

Pipha Islet

The itinerary includes some interesting new sites, including a beer factory🍻.

On the downside, RAJIN MARKET and RAJIN PORT will not be available for any visitors anymore. The market was fascinating, but if it makes you feel better, tourists were not allowed to take pictures there.

When can we go?

Chinese customs has still not opened, meaning that although Rason is in theory accepting tourists, it is currently still not possible to go via China.

Many people are eager to be the first in, but we will not accept any bookings or payments until customs open as we understand that arranging a trip to the far northeast of the DPRK will require a lot of travel planning on your side.
