Day 0

Arrive in Yanji, capital of the Korean Autonomous Region of Yanbian, Jilin Province, China. We have extensive experience in North Korea and in China and know this unique city extremely well.

Day 1: Welcome to Rason

Early depature from Yanji by bus to the border with the DPRK to start your Sonbong and Rajin North Korea tour.
11:00 – Arrival in Wonjong and scenic one-hour drive to Rajin. Enjoy a welcome lunch upon arrival.

16:00 – Watch an exciting Taekwondo demonstration.
17:00 – Tour Rason Pupils' and Children’s Palace and enjoy a cultural performance.

Day 2: Culture and Industry

08:30 – Visit the Foreign Bookstore to explore rare books and postcards.

09:30 – Enjoy the scenic beauty of Pipa Islet.

Day 3: Borderland Tour

08:00 – Drive to Tumangang to see where North Korea, Russia, and China meet.

09:00 – Visit the DPRK-Russia Friendship House.
09:30 – Enjoy panoramic views from Songjondae.
10:30 – Tour the PuPho Duck Farm (Swan House).
11:30 – Learn about aquaculture at the Sea Cucumber Breeding Farm.

12:00 – Lunch break.
13:00 – Explore Sonbong Park.

15:00 – Visit beach or hike at Mt Shahyang.

19:00 – Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Farewell to Rason

09:00 – Tour the Ryongson Beer Factory and sample local brews.

09:30 – Visit the Paekhaksan Foodstuff Factory.
10:30 – Explore the Chonghak Sanatorium.
11:00 – Stop at the Sanctuary (Deer Farm).
12:00 – Enjoy a farewell lunch.
15:00 – Exit via Wonjong and bid farewell to Rason.
